Summertime

Summertime is already almost halfway over and it is going by way too fast! We haven't been doing too much other than enjoying it as much as possible. 

Amelia is required to read and do some math work even though it is summer break so that she won't be behind when school starts back up. She continually reminds me that it is summer BREAK so I try not make her work too hard. And we make up for it by doing lots of fun things like...

Splashing in the baby pool...

Going to Disney Princess Dance Camp...

Visiting family...

And taking swim lessons.

Reagan is growing like a weed and is constantly on the go. She has got a mischevious streak and thinks it's funny to do the opposite of what she is told...like sneaking to the stairs and opening cabinet doors. But for the most part she just keeps us laughing and loving on her nonstop. We are all obsessed with the crazy girl.

We've also started a tradition called Family Movie Nights and Pizza Friday which has quickly become one of our favorite things to do all week. We each take turns picking the movie and we really jazz up our popcorn with peanut butter M&M's and sour patch kids all kinds of tasty treats, yum! 

All in all, we've had a pretty laid back summer focusing on soaking up every minute with each other before back to school schedules have life back in the fast lane.
