Halloween 2021

 This was a SUPER and WONDER-ful Halloween year for the girls! 

Amelia came up with the idea of her being Wonder Woman and Reagan being Supergirl, and I decided to dress up as the bank robber just for a little extra fun. ;) 

Our good friends Candice and Bryan and their son Connor joined us for trunk or treat at Amelia's school on Saturday. The last time we saw them was 2 Halloweens ago, so it was a long overdue reunion and we had a lot to catch up on. 

It was a cold and slightly drizzly day, but the kids still had fun. After we trunk or treated and said our goodbye's, we headed to Shelbyville for a night of pumpkin carving and chili at Nana and Papaw's house.

This is our annual tradition and it is one of our favorites! We usually keep our jack o lantern's pretty simple. Reagan was so funny with the pumpkin goop this year. She would touch it and shake her head and say "no, no, no!" and then she would reach in and touch it again, like she just couldn't help herself. 

On Sunday we headed back home and got back in our costumes for trick or treating in our neighborhood. We have the best neighborhood for Halloween festivities! There are a ton of kids and so many neighbors who really go all out with decorations and candy! 

Amelia has come a long way with her trick or treating skills, from a shy little girl who would cling to Mommy to now a confident young lady who runs up to the door by herself and always says "Happy Halloween! Trick or Treat!" and "Thank You!" Reagan caught on very quickly and would chase after sister at every house, sometimes trying to go into people's homes (ha!) and loving when they had little doggies to pet. 

We pulled the girls around in our red wagon and they totally loaded up on a ton of candy. It was a good night!

Oh I almost forgot, the Friday before Halloween, Amelia was invited to a Halloween Princess Tea Party at one of her classmate's houses. It was SO stinking cute and fun. Amelia sure is blessed with some sweet friends and a great school.
