We've been busy around here this month. A few days into January we got a nice little snow and got to go outside and play. Amelia absolutely loves the snow! Reagan thought it was okay, but she was more interested in trying to eat it rather than playing in it.
We've also been celebrating birthdays this month. The Saturday before Amelia's birthday, we invited a few of her friends (Kyri, Lacey, Lainey, & Elliot) to join us for lunch at Chik-fil-a. She had SO much fun! The girls had a booth all to themselves and there was major giggles and fun going on at their table....and I had fun chatting with the parents at the parent table too!
Amelia's actual birthday fell mid-week, so to celebrate we got her favorite dinner of lo mein noodles from PF Changs and ordered some gourmet cookies from Crumble. She got some fun new things for her room (a new rug, a super soft purple bed spread, and a rainbow picture) and a new CD player so that her and Reagan can go in their room and have a dance party!
Her family birthday party ended up getting snowed out because it ALWAYS does! So we are planning to have it in February now. Fingers crossed that the weather and COVID cooperates and we can have it.
Speaking of birthdays, we celebrated Nana's birthday last week with some chocolate cake and presents. We love our Nana!
Other than snow and birthdays, we've just been living life as usual around here. Amelia's doing great in school, and while she is there I do my best to entertain this little firecracker.
On the weekends, we've been doing church online and riding various toys around like pretend horses and yelling "Yeehaw!"
These girls are the best!
