So here is the concert recap...two weeks late, but better late than never right? Beth and I had a great time singing along with Martina McBride and George Straight, however, our little road trip got off to a bumpy start! First of all, it was snowing this particular day (luckily it wasn't sticking!) but it's never the ideal situation to be driving 3 hours on the interstate in snow!
And as it turns out, we didn't get to drive on the interstate much at all because there was a terrible accident that caused all the interstate traffic to be detoured elsewhere. We sat in a crazy long line of traffic for about an hour and drove maybe 2 miles! Once we hit our maximum point of patience, we decided to get clever and find another alternate route on my phone -- thank you Google maps! We felt so smart after we navigated our way through the country roads!
So long story short, we turned our 3 hour road trip into a 5 hour trip, but that's okay, we still had fun! And once we got there {5 minutes before Martina went on stage!}, it was a blast!

It was a fun sister night out! Beth planned this outing, so now it's my turn for our next sister trip! Can't wait!
In other news, we are moving in 2 days! Life is crazy right now, but God is being so faithful and so good to us and I'm so excited! Keep us in your prayers for a smooth transition!
