Happy 6 Months, Amelia Ryan!

 Amelia Ryan, you are 6 months old!

I know I say this every month, but I can't believe how much you have grown and changed over the past month! You are really starting to become your own little person - you are thoughtful, sweet, and showing just a little bit of willfulness already.

As always, your BFF is Lucy. She has recently started to make you burst into loud and super adorable belly laughs! She is the only one who can really crack you up!

You are slowly becoming a better sleeper (and Mommy thanks you for that). I think it won't be long before you are sleeping through the night in your crib. We just bought you a sleep sack that keeps you nice and warm without us worrying about the blanket getting bunched up around your face.

You love reading books, playing with toys, and watching everything around you. You are an easy baby to bring out with us to restaurants and running errands. You enjoy riding in the car and usually fall asleep while we're on our way home.

You have added a few new foods to your list - we are now up to cereal, pears, apples, peas, sweet potatoes, and carrots. Your favorite BY FAR are the sweet potatoes! You gobble those up fast!

Since you like to grab everything in sight, eating time gets a little messy but I like to encourage you to be hands on even if we have bright orange sweet potatoes all over both of us.

You weigh 13.12 lbs and are 25.25 inches long which puts you in the 10th percentile for weight and the 30th percentile for height. You are a teeny little tot! Little but strong!!

This month you conquered some big milestones. You have 2 teeth and you rolled over all by yourself for the first time! Mommy and Daddy jumped for joy and clapped and cheered and you looked at us like we were crazy. It was a joyous moment! We've been working hard with you to get you to roll over for a few months now! You can do it if you want! 

We love you so much, sweet girl! You bring so much joy and sunshine into our world!
