I was very thankful to be off work on Wednesday to spend a day "just us girls" with me and Amelia. We met Kimmy, Craig, & Haylee for lunch and then we went to Kohl's to do a little shopping.
After Kohl's we headed home for a much needed nap. I just cherish these sweet snuggles.
After her nap, we headed back out for round 2 of shopping and we hit up Target to get a few odds and ins, and walked out $90 later wondering what happened. But at least Amelia now has her own little Christmas tree for her room!
Thursday, we headed down to Franklin to have Thanksgiving with my family at the Kirby's. Amelia is getting better and better with each visit and is losing a little bit of her shyness with my family, for which I am very thankful!
After we all ate WAY too much, we all sat around and watched Amelia rock on her giraffe and explore the living room, including the Christmas tree. (and some of us may have dozed off...)
We had a great time visiting with family and I can't wait to go back down in a few weeks for Christmas!
Speaking of which, on Friday, we got our tree up and have tried many times to get a good picture of Amelia and Lucy under it, but they refuse to look at the camera at the same time!
Amelia has quickly learned the word "Christmas tree" and is so cute when she points to it. We are having so much fun with her already this holiday season!
