9 months

Reagan, you are 9 months old! You are growing and changing every day.

I can see one new tooth trying to pop through on the bottom and one trying to pop through on the top too. It's just a matter of days before your looks will change when all those little toofers finally grow in! And boy do you melt our hearts when you grin and show them off!

You've started talking more these days, saying both Dada AND Mama! Atta girl, baby. Now if you could just start saying "Sissy", that would really be great. Because there is no one in the world who loves you more than Amelia Ryan Nation. She is your biggest cheerleader, your most adoring fan, and your best friend in the world.

You now eat three meals a day of baby food along with nursing and bottles of formula. You like any fruit but seem to like bananas and apples the most. My plan is to continue to nurse you until your turn one, and then it is strictly bottles and sippy cups from there on out.

You aren't crawling yet, but it is not for a lack of trying. You roll around and scoot and wiggle, but bless your heart, you just can't get moving in any real direction. But you are a champ at sitting up by yourself! I can leave you sitting (on the soft carpeted basement floor) for long periods of time playing with toys and watching your sister play with her toys. This was how I managed to do a complete organizational overhaul of the basement toy situation that had exploded over the Christmas holiday and your sister's birthday.

For your 9 month check up, you got to meet your sister's favorite pediatrician, Dr. Jones. Amelia also had her 6 year check up at the same time so you got to be together for your appointments. You now weigh 18 lbs and which dropped you down to the 35th percentile for weight but you had a major height growth and are now in the 74th percentile for height.

You love music and will bop your head from side to side anytime something musical comes on the TV. You can clap your hands and love playing peek-a-boo with Sissy. You also have been exploring your voice a lot, as in seeing how loudly you can scream at the top of your lungs. While this is funny most of the time, it is a little inconvenient when Mommy is trying to have a work phone call. Silly girl.

Your hair is now getting longer and we have to clip your bangs back with a bow most days. It is adorable!

You are the best baby in the whole world, Reagy Beagy!
