On Friday, Amelia had 2 doctor appointments back to back. The first one was to get an ultrasound on her kidneys and bladder to make sure there were no abnormalities. I didn't post anything a few weeks ago, but we had a scare when Amelia contracted a UTI. She had a fever & was just not herself for a few days, but after a round of antibiotics, she is completely back to normal thankfully. But we had to go get an ultrasound done just to check out her kidneys and make sure everything was normal. Which it was -- hallelujah!

After her ultrasound, she had her 4 month check-up at her pediatrician's office. She got a good report from her doc and is hitting all of her marks for development. She is on the lower end for weight, only in the 10th percentile, but she had a growth spurt length-wise and is now in the 61st percentile!
After her doctor's visit (which included shots -- boo!), we came home to let her take a nap and get ready for a visit from some of our favorite people. Nana, Tammy, Grace, and Patsy hit the road and came up for a day visit. We were so excited to see them!
Well, I was excited to see them, anyway. It took Amelia a little bit to get used to the company. Apparently, we have sheltered the poor girl & it was overwhelming to be surrounded by so many people! She cried a little at first and only wanted Mommy (uh oh, I've turned her into a Mommy's girl!). But after a little while, she calmed down and got used to them.... all of them except Tammy. I don't think she really ever got used to her with all that dark hair! She's never been around anyone with dark hair like that! Sorry Aunt Tammy, she will learn to love you as much as I do, don't worry!
After our company left to head back home, all the girls in my house were completely wiped out. Everyone got a nap!
