Someone's In the Kitchen

And it's not Dinah! Ya'll know that old song "Someone's In the Kitchen with Dinah..."? Yeah, now we'll both have that tune in our head all day! You're welcome.

Last night I threw on an apron and whipped up a batch of homemade chocolate chip cookies for me and the hubby. They were mighty tasty! Here is the recipe:

2 1/4 cups flour
1 tsp baking soda
1 tsp salt
1 cup soft butter
3/4 cup sugar
3/4 cup brown sugar
1 tsp vanilla
2 eggs
walnuts
chocolate chips

In one bowl, mix the flour, soda, and salt. In another bowl, cream the two sugars, vanilla, and butter.  Then, add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each.  Gradually add in the flour mixture.  Stir in chips and walnuts.  Bake at 375 degrees for about 10 minutes.

We like to eat our cookies warm out of the oven with a nice big glass of milk while watching The Biggest Loser. Mmm Mmmm Good.
